(800) 752-9442

Community in Motion Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services are available for clients in Clark, Cowlitz, Klickitat, Skamania, and Wahkiakum counties and individuals covered by Washington State Medicaid (Apple Health).

Typical services can include primary care, behavioral health, urgent medical care, dental, dialysis, specialty medical care. Please call 911 for emergency situations or transportation to the Emergency Room.

When you request a ride, they work with you and your medical provider to determine the type of transportation most suited to your abilities. We then locate the lowest-cost option given your needs and arrange for service with one of our providers. The most common types of transportation available include bus passes/train tickets, gas vouchers/mileage reimbursement, and door-to-door rides.

Washington Administrative Code requires Community in Motion to provide transportation to local doctors and clinics and to arrange for the lowest-cost mode of transportation that is suitable for the clients medical condition and abilities.

To allow time to schedule your ride, call the office at least two business days before a scheduled medical appointment. Rides can be requested up to 14 days in advance. Transport to urgent appointments may be scheduled on an "as available" basis. If you need to cancel a ride, please call as soon as possible, but at least two business hours before your scheduled pick-up time.
